Kirkby Stephen Town Forum

christmas treeThe Forum is a not-for-profit organisation open to all residents and businesses of the Kirkby Stephen ward. The overall aim of the Forum is to promote the quality of life and prosperity of the town of Kirkby Stephen as well as the conservation and enhancement of its character.
We are delighted to be involved with Stainmore 150 in the celebration of 150 years of this sadly missed line. This promises to be a spectacular event for Kirkby Stephen and its visitors.
In recent years, the Forum have co-ordinated the prize winning entry for CalorĀ® England Village of the Year, helped with Britain in Bloom and Cumbria in Bloom successes, various events and projects in furtherance of their aims. The Forum also work very closely with other local groups and organisations as part of our Upper Eden community.
The Forum see Kirkby Stephen Heritage Centre as a fantastic tourist attraction for the town for the future and the forthcoming Stainmore 150 celebration will add to visitor enjoyment of the area.
